Weeping Tiger Beef


Weeping Tiger beef is made with thinly sliced sirloin steak that is marinated in a mixture of Thai chili peppers, fish sauce, lime juice, and other herbs and spices.

Weeping Tiger Beef


  •   1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
  •   1/4 cup soy sauce
  •   1/4 cup oyster sauce
  •   1 tablespoon fish sauce
  •   1 tablespoon brown sugar
  •   2 cloves garlic, minced
  •   1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  •   1 teaspoon chili powder
  •   1/4 teaspoon black pepper


1. In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients.
2. Add the beef to the bowl and toss to coat.
3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
4. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
5. Remove the beef from the marinade and discard the marinade.
6. Grill the beef for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
7. Serve immediately
